Leanne Hanmore
(she/they)
East Sussex, United Kingdom
Leanne is a facilitator, lifelong student and aspiring storyteller.
After working for several years in the humanitarian sector, Leanne has a deep humility for the scope of the work and a deep confliction with its approach. It’s led her onto a path of self-inquiry and exploration of the effects of chronic stress and trauma on the nervous system. Leanne is now a dedicated student and teacher of somatic practice. She believes that everybody has the right to embodiment; to feel at home in their body, alive and present in a way that they choose, acknowledging the inner, collective, and structural work this requires. Leanne is committed to stewarding, practicing and sharing yoga and mindfulness through a trauma-informed lens.
She is a certified trauma-informed facilitator (TCTSY -F) with the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at Justice Resource Institute.
