Thank you for being here, let's take a breath together.

Crisis Response was born out of direct conversation with our United Nations colleagues, and the urgent needs they expressed.

This is a space where strength and vulnerability co-exist, and where the experience of both can be explored in an empowering way.

It is a dedicated space for all people, from all places, in all walks of life.
Whether you are feeling stretched and struggling with the challenges you are facing, or would like to explore how to strengthen the resilience you already have in place, this space is for you.  Here, you will find the courage to care for yourself, so that you can continue to care for others.

When caring for others, it may feel difficult to identify what you need to care for yourself. If you’d like support, use this guide to find a practice based on what you may be needing in this moment.

I am stretched

There will be moments when we feel challenged beyond what is safe, are in urgent need of support, or are overwhelmed and unsure of what we need to tend to our wellbeing. To support you when you are feeling stretched, the practices found here offer a sense of calm, stability, and connection to the present moment.

I am resourced

When we feel grounded and have adequate resources to support our wellbeing, it can be easy to overlook the importance of our practice. When we are resourced, we have an opportunity to meet challenges with greater self-awareness and incorporate new tools to feel better equipped for the future.

I am restoring

The moments when we need to restore may follow the tension from a challenging event, or the demands of everyday work and life. It is important that we honor these moments and create the space for ourselves to recover. The practices found here are longer in length and cultivate a sense of spaciousness, relaxation, and restoration.

I am expanding

As we continue to grow, we may find ourselves in moments where we are ready to embrace life’s challenges with greater confidence while cultivating a deeper connection to ourselves and our community. The practices found here are designed to explore how the body and mind can work together to uncover new insights, wisdom, and pathways for growth which allow us to expand.
