Ramsay is a certified mindfulness instructor, a student and teacher of yoga, and a birth doula. For over a decade they have been bringing their work into yoga studios, assisted living homes, brain injury rehabilitation facilities, retreat programs, online classes, labor and delivery rooms, facilities of incarceration, corporate workplaces, and more.
Ramsay has specialized training in yoga for self-regulation and trauma and is certified through the Integrative Amrit (I AM) Method as a yoga nidra instructor. They hold the yoga certifications of ERYT-500, RPYT, YACEP. Ramsay completed their RYT-300 training with social justice warrior, anti-racism consultant, and trainer, Michelle C. Johnson, focusing on the intersection of yoga and justice.
Ramsay has worked with Peace on Purpose since 2021, supporting curriculum design and program facilitation. They are also a lead training and retreat facilitator for LoveYourBrain, designing and leading specialized trainings for yoga teachers and health professionals to make yoga and mindfulness more accessible for people affected by traumatic brain injury. Ramsay is committed to stewarding, practicing, and sharing yoga and mindfulness practices through a trauma-informed lens that addresses the intersectionality of oppression and barriers to anyone's inherent ability to heal.
